What has been your career path at Atlas Copco?
I joined Atlas Copco in 1998 as a Purchasing Officer for our compressor division. A year after that Atlas Copco piloted a national shared services program. I was part of the team and we were the pioneers in developing it. Now ASAP (Advance Services Administration Provider) covers IT, payroll, HR, purchasing, payables and receivables, reporting and, in Australia, currently a national car fleet of over 430 cars. I am now the Purchasing and Fleet Manager for Australia.
 
Best part of your job?
The best part is interacting with our customers and suppliers. To know that the customer’s task or request is completed to the best of our abilities and within our guidelines is immensely satisfying. And of course, I work in a great team.
 
What attracted you to Atlas Copco?
Atlas Copco is a multinational global company that is well known locally and has a good reputation. It also makes innovative and new products.
 
What opportunities are there at Atlas Copco?
I have been presented with many opportunities for travel and study and have grown since I first started both professionally and socially. I like that I know so many people at Atlas Copco.
 
I love my family - my husband, two daughters, and my son-in-laws are a huge part of my life and my Atlas Copco colleagues are part of my extended family too.
